The Pride Community Center will be hosting our 3rd Annual Rainbow Festival this year to celebrate Pride Month in Johnson City, TN.
Join us on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 10AM-8PM at the Pavilion at Founders Park.

Lavender Festival
Since 1999, the Lavender Festival has grown larger and more popular each year. Thousands of people visit the festival in Historic Jackson Square in Oak Ridge each year to see a variety of regional vendors whose goal is to celebrate health, herbs, and the environment. The Lavender Festival is scheduled yearly for the third weekend in June, at the peak season for the herb it celebrates.

Mill Spring Makers Faire

The G.O.A.T. Festival is an exciting new annual Celebration of the Arts event in Kingsport, hosting some of the region’s best craft artists. In 2023, this will be the first year serving the artists and the community. This year’s festival will be held April 21st through April 23rd, beginning with a ticketed preview party Friday evening.

We’re excited to host over 50 local makers, artists and craftsmen where you’ll find unique, quality handmade goods. You’ll also enjoy demos, music, local foods and more.
2022 Marshall Handmade Market
The Marshall Handmade Market is held the weekend before Thanksgiving at Marshall High Studios in Marshall, NC, from 10am to 5pm. The studios are housed in a 1920's two story brick high school, which is nestled on a little island in the French Broad River.
Every year the spacious and sunny auditorium is filled with some of the best makers in the region, and the resident artists open the doors of their classrooms-turned-studios to visitors. Be sure to come this fall to enjoy the weekend with coffee, local artisan pastries and delicious lunch from one of Asheville’s favorite food trucks. You’ll find a musician or two and plenty of seating on the generous back deck. Our idyllic island setting, the charming historic high school and fantastic artists all combine to make the Marshall Handmade Market a favorite among holiday markets for locals and visitors!
2022 Made Around Here Market
Join us and browse through the various vendors’ booths, explore hundreds of skillfully handcrafted items and enjoy this one-of-a-kind craft show on Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12 from 10am to 5pm both days.
Now in its 40th year, and one of Jonesborough’s oldest craft shows, Made Around Here Market has grown to be a tradition for many in creating a unique shopping experience.
At Made Around Here Market, attendees will discover pieces from local and regional artisans and crafters, as well as residents from surrounding states. All items are handmade, some examples include, pottery, paintings and varied mediums, photographs, screen-printed items, seasonal décor, holiday gifts, leather items, woodcarvings, and others.
Made Around Here Market will be held on November 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. inside the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center located at 117 Boone Street. There is an additional marketplace located outside in the main parking lot and greenspace areas.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted to support Jonesborough’s many events throughout the year.
2022 Home Craft Days
The 2022 Home Craft Days celebration will be held October 21-23, 2022 on the campus of Mountain Empire Community College. The event kicks off with a free Friday night concert. Saturday and Sunday will feature performances every hour on our two stages- Legends and Legacy. The Crafts Festival will begin on Saturday, October 22 from 10-6 and Sunday, October 23 from 10-5. Enjoy the food, fun, and friendship of Southwest Virginia and come home to the Home Craft Days festival.
Heritage Days Festival
Heritage Days – a traditional community celebration of Rogersville’s unique heritage. The festival showcases traditional music, storytellers, and dancers, special activities for Children, demonstrations of pioneer skills, antique quilts, cars and farm equipment, a juried craft show, and a food court to delight everyone!
Heritage Days Friday night's activities include the costumed children’s parade, the Chili Cook-off in the Hale Springs Inn courtyard, and the antique car cruise-in. Please note that craft booths and shows will not be open on Friday evening.
Bristol in Bloom
The region of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee is brimming with talented musicians, painters, writers, actors, actresses, and more. Bristol in Bloom is an event focused on celebrating the talent that dwells in the foothills of Appalachia by sharing it with the community.
